Lost Ring

LYTON AND LYNMOUTH

 

Miss Gabriel Ray, who had been on a visit Lynmouth, lost diamond ring, valued at £250, Wednesday morning. Search was made, but without success, and she left by Lynmouth by motor for Barnstable. A young lady relative of the landlady of the house where Miss Ray stayed continued her search and eventually found the ring in a tiny crevice at the foot the stairs. A telegram was duly sent to the owner.

The UK Inflation Calculator puts the value of Miss Ray’s ring in 2018 to be £21,120.61
